Cranksgiving is a food drive on two wheels.  Part bike ride, part food drive, and part scavenger hunt.

2016 was our first year holding this event in San Jose – you may have seen the great coverage in NBC Bay Area Proud or read about it on DIYBIKING.COM

In 2017 we gathered 61 riders and collected nearly 900 pounds of food to benefit Second Harvest Food Bankcheck out the sweet video about the event here.

Follow Cranksgiving San Jose on Facebook to learn about the 2018 event. Remember: all you need is a bike, a bag, a lock and about $20 to purchase groceries to make a difference. Our goal is to provide hundreds of needy Bay Area families with relief during Thanksgiving. Thanks for sharing!

Second Harvest Food Bank currently provides food to more than one quarter of a million people every month in the South Bay, but they need all of our help!
